The luxury resort of Zubebi in Pantelleria, Sicily, covers an area of 2.5 hectares, situated the hills that
overlook the town of Pantelleria.
The name is derived from "Zbib", a term that the Arabs used to describe a variety
of grape known today as Zibibbo. The small area of Zubebi lies between the larger
district of "Kuddìa Bruciata" - with its imposing black lava hill (Kuddìa) - and
"San Marco" district - whose acropolis testifies to the past Phoenician civilisation.
The choice of this area was no chance affair. The resort is designed for people
looking for an oasis of relax and privacy.
Those who appreciate the simplicity of the countryside but don't want to give
up refined accommodation will love the resort. | |
